Smile For Rent Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Smile For Rent. This page outlines the official Smile For Rent Terms that govern all vehicle rentals in Pattaya, Thailand. 1. Driver Qualifications and Requirements
Driver’s License: Renters must provide a valid physical driver’s license. International customers also need an International Driving Permit (IDP) if their license is not in English.
Minimum Age: The minimum rental age is 21 for cars and 18 for motorbikes or scooters. Some premium models may require an older driver.
2. Rental Period, Rates, and Payment Terms
Rental Duration: Each rental period lasts at least 24 hours. Rates are calculated on a 24-hour basis. Returning a vehicle late may result in extra charges.
Security Deposit: A refundable deposit is required for every rental. It is returned in full after the vehicle is safely returned and all Smile For Rent Terms are met.
3. Vehicle Use and Restrictions
Authorized Use: Only the renter and approved drivers listed in the agreement may operate the vehicle. Use of the vehicle for illegal activities, racing, or off-road driving is strictly prohibited. For local traffic regulations, visit the Department of Land Transport website.
Geographical Limits: All vehicles must remain within Thailand. Crossing the border cancels insurance coverage immediately.
4. Insurance and Liability
Insurance Coverage: Every rental includes basic Third-Party Liability insurance. This coverage limits financial responsibility for damage caused to third parties. The renter is responsible for any deductible and for damage to the rented vehicle as stated in the Smile For Rent Terms.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
We respect your privacy. Personal data is collected and processed in line with our Privacy Policy. By agreeing to these terms, you also accept our privacy practices as described in that policy.
